How did sugar plantations gain control of so much land? Why was the monarchy overthrown? Did native Hawaiians agree to annexation/statehood? Why did Congress find that Hawaii was "…an unjust oppressive, monopolistic economic system…" after investigating the Massie murder case? Vaidehi Herbert, author and President of Kolam Charitable Foundation,, a nonprofit organization that supports the Imayam School and other charitable projects in Tamil Nadu, India Join Kaua`i resident Vaidehi Herbert as she unravels the mysteries of ancient Sangam poetry.
