The Board of Directors, the library staff, and the North Shore community in general are grateful for the countless hours of public service offered by our volunteers and for the generous tax-deductible donations made by individuals and organizations in the area. Your efforts pay off directly and efficiently to improve our library's resources and services. At least twice a year, these volunteers and donors are thanked in our newsletter: you can download the latest as well as prior copies here.

LOOKING FOR YOUR
COMMUNITY SERVICE NICHE?

Are you interested in

  • working toward a worthwhile community service goal with a group of interesting, friendly and cooperative individuals?
  • having a chance to apply your personal skills and talents to solving problems and "brainstorming" with a dedicated group of volunteers?
  • learning a lot of information about the community you live and/or work in?
  • feeling "good" by helping others?
  • being introduced to exciting new ideas and experiences?
  • being able to accomplish all this in conveniently set meeting times approximately four or five times a year?
